All are welcome to join museum staff, the family of A. Ralph Slaughter, I, and other dignitaries for a reception that will be held as part of this special edition of our monthly Historical Happy Hour series. Total Control is a six-piece cover band based in New Roads, Louisiana known for performing old school R&B, Funk, Zydeco, Southern Soul & more. The band has been entertaining audiences for 20+ years with its unique musicianship from Louisiana to Alabama.
The FREE event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend as the community comes together to commemorate freedom, celebrate legacy, and build toward a more unified future. Dressy casual attire is requested.
