"Who is Indigenous? Perspectives on Indigeneity, Identity, Dispossession, and Transition."

Port Allen- Please join the West Baton Rouge Museum on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 12 Noon for a discussion on the 2022 publication: Who is Indigenous: Perspectives on Identity, Disposition, and Transition. The book explores what it means to be indigenous in an academic, legal, and personal sense through the voices of residents from Russia, Alaska, and Louisiana. The museum is pleased to welcome E. Barrett Ristroph, Ph.D., J.D., editor, and contributor Rachael Billiot-Bruleigh for a discussion, reading, Q&A, and book signing. Books will be available for sale following the discussion.
