West Baton Rouge Heritage Trailway

The West Baton Rouge Heritage Trailway, including the DeSoto Levee Top Trail, is a paved walking or riding path (non-motorized only), for a beautiful and safer trek in West Baton Rouge and along the Mississippi River. Additional sections are planned, but the current DeSoto Levee Top Trail is a 5-mile path from Brusly to Addis. Parking is also in the works, but for now, you may park along Bourg Street, along with parking during non-school hours at Brusly Middle School.
